1. Hello my friend, pleasure to have you on Rotten Pages ´zine. How are you doing today? Let us set the scene first. Where do we find you right now? Please describe your surroundings.
I'm in my home studio in the mountains of Washington near mt baker.
2. Being from Bellingham, Washington, United States, how has your geographical location influenced your music and overall artistic direction as a band?
Other than the forest relaxing me, maybe the long dark winters help darken my music.
3. Your selftitled debut album deliver a powerful, aggressive, and massive sound. Can you tell us about the inspiration behind these 9 songs and how it felt to release your music to the world?
It has been a dream of mine to release all these riffs some of which are like 30 years old. Modern technology it has made this possible to do affordably. My inspiration for the songs is my love for Horror and Murder shows I probably watch to many of them! Also Some Songs Have A slight political theme Like Abyssal Decay which talks about the current state of the US.
4. Tell us about the recording sessions, how did it go? Was it your first time in recording? How long did it take you to finish everything?
It was my First time recording and was a learning process. To me this is my raw Demo type Album. I have learned alot and have invested in recording gear upgrades. Mics and preamps and so on. All of this to make the next even better!
I worked on the album for about a year.

5. Do you ever feel any kind of pressure or lack of creating new riffs when writing new material? Does everything happen more in the flow way? Do you have to be in a certain mood?
I just jam a lot and when i stumble on a riff that sounds cool I work on it and add to it until a song reveals itself. I've always been the type of guitarist that didn't want to play other peoples songs i like to create my own. Building on my influences.
6. Can you briefly inform us about the overall lyrical theme of the songs? What would you say inspires your songwriting, as in topics or emotions?
The inspirations like I said above are Darker themes like Horror serial killers and the ugly in the world. No Nice ballads here.
7. You´ve got Julia Sergent from Spain colaborating on vocals for this album? How did this collaboration come about, and how she came to be involved in the recordings?
I Stumbled across her on IG and contacted her and she was game was great working with her. Although I may try to find some one in Washington who can actually come to my studio top record and have a more close work on the songs for the next Album.
8. The artwork for your album is very striking and you seem to have fixed on a recognisable visual style. What’s the story behind the cover art and who was the artist behind it?
I had Put together a mock up for the idea for it. Then I found an artist form Hungry ,Robert that I really liked his work and had him do his version of my idea and i love d it will defiantly use him going forward

9. How much time do you spend on the band both physically but also mentally each day? Is it worth all the time and effort in the end?
I spend a lot of time thinking about and working on songs they haunt me until i can finish them. And for me its all about the music so it is defiantly worth it, I'm not here to make money. Although Money can buy more gear
10. What ways has been the best for you in order to promote the band? What do you do to reach as many interest as possible?
I Paid for a few promotions. But I do a lot of pitching songs to playlists which has worked out pretty well. And just social media.
11. With so many thrash metal bands coming up these days, how do you manage to keep your material relevant? How challenging is it to come up with newer material?
Yes it seems we are in a new wave of thrash. I love it and love to listen to all the new bands. I'm in my own bubble though and try to not let all that i listen too make me sound like them
12. What do you consider to be the best musical things of the past few years? Have you run into albums that absolutely mesmerized you?
I'm Really into the OG thrash Bands coming form that era myself. I really love the new Kerry King Album, The new Testament album. And cant wait for what Exodus and Megadeth has coming soon. I also Recently discovered Castle Rat, Doom usually isn't my thing but there is something about that band i love.
13. How do you define “underground” and where do you see yourself and your band in it?
The modern underground to me is bands that are self producing and ones that are trying to keep it raw. Leave in some of the mistakes that give it all character and don't over produce the songs so they sound like everything else. In this world were every one tunes really low I'm going back old school with standard tuning.
14. So, what’s coming out next? Anything you want to divulge from the vault of your future plans?
I'm on the 4th song already for the next album some lyrics are in the works. Real excited for this one. I will do some single releases with this one that i did not do with the first!
15. I want to thank you, sincerely, for your time. Before we end our conversation, is there anything else in particular you’d like to share?
Thank you for helping us little guys and stay Brutal my friends!!!
