Somedays ago, I was telling a friend of mine how certain bands need a dirty sound to transmit the correct essence of their music, and this might be a perfect example of it. Gha’agsheblah are a band that come from Austria and, as you may infer due to the name of both, band and production, are into the Black Metal scene. This album contains eight tracks of dirty, harsh and dark First Wave Black Metal influence, the ones that, at the beginning are quite interesting, including the horror film samples used as itros, but at certain point, everything turned boring and repetitive. As I said before, there are some bands that need a dirty sound to ensure the correct delivery of the message their music wants to transmit, but in some cases abusing of this sometimes hinders the objective, even more if the song writing is not providing something that keeps your attention.
