It is weird to say it, but there were passages in this production by Canadian Kraken Mare that brought me the calm I needed someway, even though it is a Symphonic Black Metal band. British Columbia duo Kraken Mare is offering their first full length composed by six tracks that give us around 40 minutes of quite interesting music since it is not necessarily what one may expect to listen to whether after reading the subgenre they play or observe the album’s cover. Many names might come to my mind to give you clues, but, in this case, I consider doing it just would screw the good feeling listening to this production could mean. Great combination of clean female voices and harsh ones, good incursions of the keyboards arranges and a very interesting combination of kind of Pagan, Progressive and even Heavy Metal together with BM proposal. If there is an aspect that may not help that much, it is the sound it has. It has a very basic sound and mix, typical for demos from the 80s - 90s, but this does not hinder your enjoying this production.
