Poumon Noir “L’obscurite”: From certain time to now, Canada has become an interesting cradle of Black Metal bands, most of them, if not all, performing extreme acts with a very raw sound. The case of Poumon Noir, French for Black Lung, is a one-man band, something common in these post-pandemia days, that brings us a five-track production into a very raw, extremely raw if talking about the sound quality, and low-pace Black Metal. Having some kind of influence on the first wave of Black Metal at certain points, the sound quality, basically, and vocals, L’obscurite turns into an interesting option for those purists who enjoy the old times sound.
