Scitalis “Doomed before time” (Vendetta Records)

This is the very first time I listen to this Swedish band, although this is their second production, and there are many things to value. First of all, it is not the typical Black Metal band that goes straight forward to raw and harsh stuff, but without losing intensity, Scitalis gives you a combination of intensity and gloomy, dense, dark ambient at the same time. When listening to this eight track production I do feel the same sensation I got when being a teenager and observing the flyers from Black Metal bands, this feeling of mystery, occult and intense darkness. The essence of this genre. Well done, guys!
