Sonum “Visceral Void Entropy” (WormholeDeath Records)

In days where talking about dissonance is usually related to technical or progressive, where guitarist try to show how fast they are, sometimes even leaving structure and, in some cases, the idea of communicating something, it is hard to find a band that knows how to balance a little of Old School Death Metal, dissonances, good transitions and more, generating the perfect sequence of songs and, with this, a very enjoyable production. Visceral Void Entropy contains nine tracks that get you from the first memento and don’t let you go till the end after having heard the album at least twice. I just loved that they used an arpeggio track (Desolation) after such a dense and dark attack (I am destruction). Give them a try.
