Teraset “Bones of Contention” (Independent)

Death Metal does not need to be fast to be good. It does not need blastbeats or unintelligible very low growls to be brutal. It just needs to be honest, intense, powerful, and this is something that New Zelanders Teraset know well. Here we can find eight well executed Death Metal tracks all of them in a mid-slow pace, a mix between Obituary, Pestilence, Bolt Thrower with a certain touch that makes you recognize it is Teraset what you are listening to. I personally love Death metal, the more obscure and fast the better for me; however, I cannot deny I found this production engaging from the first minute.
